Three Things To Consider Before You Judge

1. Where They Have Been
Everyone has a journey. The Bible tells us that to whom much is given, much is required. I was born to Godly parents that taught me morality, introduced me to Jesus and sheltered me from bad influences until I was equipped to fight the influences with Jesus in me. I have no business judging others because the burden of proof rests on me. I'm the one of which much is required since I've been given so much. Everyone is going to be at a different point of the journey depending on when and from where she started. 

2. Where They Are
When the people of the synagogue saw only where she had been, Jesus saw where she was. He judges only on the basis of the present condition of one's heart and motives.

3. Where They Are Headed
Jesus had an interesting discussion with Peter before He ascended back to Heaven. He showed him a glimpse into his future and Peter didn't like it. His first response was, "But what about him?" He wanted to know what was going to happen to John. Just as each one's journey has a beginning, each one's journey will come to an end. God likely has different things in store for you than for another therefore your path might look somewhat different from theirs.

Do you realize that the three things I mentioned above cannot be fully known about you by anyone but yourself? That's the way God intends it. We must concern ourselves with our own hearts and judge most harshly the one that we see in the mirror each day.
