A Thanksgiving Tree

If you're looking for a way to make Thanksgiving more meaningful or just more visual for your children, The Thankful Tree might work for you! Besides, I think it's just plain ol' purdy!

I plan to start our Thanksgiving Tree either this weekend or early next week. Every day until Thanksgiving, I'll have each child write something they're thankful for on a circle and hang it on the tree. I'll help the younger children write theirs, and give them ideas if they can't think of anything. :) On Thanksgiving Day we'll take turns reading the tags aloud.

After Thanksgiving, when it's time to take down the tree, I might have the kids glue their circles into a Thanksgiving Memory Booklet. Not sure about that, but it's an idea. I'm sentimental like that.

Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions you'd like to share?
