I know bloggers are supposed to be all about social media, but I found myself getting annoyed at myself every time I spent time on Facebook. I didn't spend as much as a lot of people (I don't have that many friends!
2. Reading Large Family Logistics
This book is awesome! Wonderful! Superb! O.K. you get the idea. The author has 9 children so she knows what she's talking about, but I wish I would have had this book when I had 1 child. It's THAT good. It has helped me in so many ways, but particularly with our schedule. I want to read it slowly throughout the year to digest each part better. So encouraging and practical without weighing a mom down. Again, I'm not saying you have to read it, but I would strongly encourage you to if you're a mom!
I did the facebook thing lst year for about 4 months and I deleted it. It was good for me too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Large Family Logistics! It has been super helpful with my schedule, too. I almost have all my laundry done by 4:00 today! I think we will make it. Thanks for taking a look at my blog, too.

ReplyDeleteI have been off of Facebook for a year now and haven't regretted a moment of it. I blogged about it a while back. If you're interested in reading it, you can find it here: http://borrowedtimeblogging.blogspot.com/2010/07/tweetings-for-birds-why-i-gave-up-on.html.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it seems to be strange not to have a Facebook account when you are a blogger, but it has certainly worked for me!
@ Susan--my child that does laundry was sick today, so I was still doing laundry at 9 p.m. Grrr...but I love the afternoon chore time. When all kids are healthy, we get the house in shape quickly.
ReplyDelete@Krista--Loved your post...left you a comment
@No Ordinary Me...glad I'm not the only one. Way to take charge of your time! :-)
